Support Services
A wide variety of support services are offered to Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing (HH) groups and individuals. Some examples are community and family education, advocacy within school systems or government agencies, accessing resources in rural areas, employer in-service, and general promotion of deaf awareness within the community.
Interpreters work one on one with Deaf/HH individuals for a variety of reasons, for example, correspondence assistance, financial/personal budgeting, independent living resources, etc.
Family Sign Classes: Sign language classes designed specifically for immediate familymembers/guardians/primary care takers of a Deaf/HHindividual who communicates through Sign Language.
