Capital Campaign Logo
Rehab Renewal Campaign

The Rehab Center has chosen to launch a $3 million capital campaign to support capital improvements at the facility, purchase necessary program equipment (physical therapy, audiology and Progress Industries) and to construct a new facility for New Beginnings drug and alcohol residential and treatment facility. From May 2006 through August 2006, executives at The Rehab Center and the trustees along with Ketchum Consulting Group conducted an in-depth study to determine both the necessity and feasibility of conducting a successful campaign. From the information and data gathered during the planning process, it was determined that the agency is positioned for SUCCESS!

Ohio Children Are Doing It Deaf Together In Mansfield

Area deaf children had the opportunity to spend the day with other deaf peers from Northeastern Ohio Wednesday, during a fun day held by the Rehabilitation Center of North Central Ohio's Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Deaf children from five cities visited the center in Mansfield as part of the summer program "Doing It Deaf." The Columbus based organization "Advocates For Kids" gives out grants each summer, and this year five centers came together to hold five separate fun days throughout the state. Wednesday's activities included storytellers, learning about the Mansfield Fire Dept., a pizza party at the Carrousel in downtown Mansfield and finished with bowling at Park Lanes. The children also participated in a unity project where they painted their hand prints and names on a large parachute. The center plans to display the project in the lobby with pictures from the day.

Honorariums & Memorials

For more than 50 years, The Rehab Center has served countless individuals and families in our community. What better way to honor a friend, family member or employee than giving a gift that lasts a life-time? You or your organization may choose to contribute in memory of an individual, the passing of a friend’s loved one, or in honor of someone’s success or years of service. Your contribution will be acknowledged with a letter informing the individual (or his/her family) of your generous gift and will stand as a lasting, meaningful tribute that will help strengthen and sustain The Rehab Center’s future.

To make an honorarium, please include a note with the following information for each gift:
• Name of person being honored and occasion OR name of deceased (and date of death, if known).
• Name and address of surviving spouse or family member to whom notice of this gift should be sent.
• Your name, address and telephone number and amount of gift for tax purposes.

A memorial or honorarium letter will be sent to the surviving family member(s) or individual acknowledging the donor, not the amount of the gift. The donor is mailed an acknowledgement letter and a receipt for tax purposes. For additional information please contact the Fund Development office at 419-756-1133.

Volunteers Needed

The Rehab Center is in need of volunteers for many areas including helping in our child development area, putting together mailings, database entry and control, copy making, marketing material, updating and presenting, and special events (including Telethon, Town Roast). If you have a few hours each week, month, or year and would like to help the people of our community please call 419-756-1133 and ask for more details.
